2024 Sauvignon Blanc

Embrace the unexpected with our Sauvignon Blanc, born from a vintage that tested the boundaries. The relentless Texas sun forced an early harvest, yet from this challenge emerged a wine of vibrant character—a testament to adaptation and the artistry of the vine. Only 112 cases were coaxed from the vineyard.

Winemaker’s Notes:

The summer of 2024 presented a unique dilemma: an intense heat spike accelerated ripening, demanding swift action. We embraced the urgency, carefully selecting the fruit at its peak ripeness to capture the essence of the moment. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its delicate flavors, this Sauvignon Blanc captures a season defined by heat and precision.

Tasting Notes:

A pale straw hue hints at the sun-drenched days that shaped it. The nose leads with pronounced aromas of passionfruit and freshly cut pineapple—bright tropical notes juxtaposed with subtle minerality. On the palate, discover layers of white peach and lemon zest, adding depth and complexity. The crisp acidity provides a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the fruit, leading to a clean, lingering finish.

This Sauvignon Blanc is an invitation to appreciate the ephemeral beauty of a single vintage. Pair it with dishes that celebrate freshness and vitality—think grilled seafood with citrus, salads bursting with herbs, or spicy Latin American cuisine. Open a bottle and savor the fleeting taste of a moment in time.

This 2023 Albariño is more than just a wine. With a limited release of only 45 cases, it captures the essence of the Texas High Plains terroir, expressing its unique voice with clarity and grace. A journey to the shores of the dust coast.

Winemaker’s Notes:

Crafted with the kind of care that only a true Texan knows, this Albariño was born from a season of grit and determination. Fermented in stainless steel to let the fruit shine, it then spent six months on the lees to develop a hint of creaminess and complexity that speaks volumes. It’s a masterclass in minimalism, letting the untamed spirit of the fruit do the talking.

Tasting Notes:

With a luminous pale gold hue reminiscent of the sun soaking into the Texas red dirt, this Albariño wraps you in warmth. The nose opens up to delicate aromas of nectarines and apricots, with a dash of grapefruit zest to keep you on your toes. On the palate, feel the vibrant acidity gallop across your taste buds, paired with a hint of salty minerality that’s as refreshing as a cool breeze after a hard day out on the plains. Its light body makes it a perfect companion for hot Texas afternoons, while the lingering finish leaves you with impressions of citrus and stone fruit.

This Albariño is a reminder of the simple pleasures in life. Pair it with dishes that echo its coastal spirit—think oysters on the half shell, grilled octopus with lemon, or fresh ceviche.

In a year that echoed the challenges and triumphs of our terroir, each row was carefully selected to ensure only the finest fruit made the cut. Aged for 14 months in a carefully balanced blend of French and American oak, this Barbera underwent battonage, softly coaxing out its complex character.
