We Are Pioneers
In 1971, my dad, Dr. Vijay Reddy, emigrated from India, bringing five generations of farming knowledge and quickly earning a PhD in Soil and Plant Science.
With my mom, Subada, he built a successful business helping farmers across the Western U.S. optimize their crops sustainably. But it was Texas that captured their hearts. In 1997, in the windy Texas plains, they planted the first grapevines at Reddy Vineyards.
We are explorers.
We travel to the great wine regions of the world, finding varietals that thrive in the Texas High Plains, and experimenting with more than 38 different types of grapes. Today, Reddy Vineyards stands as one of the most diverse and innovative vineyards in the U.S.
We are students.
We are always learning and inventing the new trends and tastes of the world’s wine culture and bringing them home to Texas.
We are the artists and scientists who make Texas wine world-class.
Our very first harvest resulted in a gold-medal-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, and we continue to produce award-winning wines showcasing the greatness of Texas terroir.

We’re grateful for the warm, welcoming spirit of Texans. Maybe that’s why we’ve become so fiercely protective of Texas, our wine, and our customers. We implemented and invented more sustainable farming, making a product with fewer additives and chemicals, and no added sugars or artificial flavors.
