This micro-production blend of Viognier and Marsanne is our premier expression of the 2019 white grape harvest. We aged this wine in 50% new French oak to add a luxurious richness and vanilla accents. On the nose this wine presents notes of citrus, white flower, vanilla, and pear. It evolves on the palate with layered flavors of yellow apple, pear, citrus, cream, spice and oak. Rich and round with a long finish, this wine is the complete sensory package.
94 POINTS | The Tasting Panel: “Fruit from high elevation vineyards peaking over 3300 feet is blessed with a long growing season. Aged in 50% new French oak, this 75% Viognier/25% Marsanne blend brings in scents of lemon peel and Anjou pear. Banana, pineapple, and lemon curd meet an array of exotic flowers on the palate. It finishes with biscuit and ripe oranges: clean, concise, and focused.” – Meredith May, The Tasting Panel & Somm Journal.
